Polartanz is one of the most successful Trakehner eventing stallions on the international stage. He combines intelligence and excellent temperament with outstanding athletic qualities.
His pedigree carries strong English Thoroughbred influence through the legendary sire Heraldik xx, winner of the World Cup and multiple Nations Cups in showjumping, and sire of offspring competing successfully in dressage, top-level showjumping, and eventing up to the Olympic Games.
From the famous mare families Polarfahrt and Kokette of the historic Trakehnen Stud, Polartanz inherits a foundation of proven excellence. His bloodlines also feature the established Trakehner sport sires Habicht v. Burnus AAH (international eventing) and Elfenglanz (award-winning at highest levels), alongside French Anglo-Arabian influence through Konvoi v. Kallistos xx, a champion hurdler and sire of international showjumpers and eventers up to Olympic level.
In March 2015, Polartanz was licensed at the Breeding Association for Sport Horses of Arabian Descent in Alsfeld and registered in Stallion Book I. He is currently approved for breeding with the Trakehner Verband, Deutsches Sportpferd (DSP), and ZSAA. His charm, quality gaits, rhythmic movement, and powerful free-jumping performance made a lasting impression during his licensing.
