2010 – 16.2hh Chestnut Trakehner Stallion

Freddy was purchased as a yearling from Chris Green at Dulwich Stud, chosen for his exceptional pedigree and promising conformation. Following an inspection with Will Enzinger, it was clear he possessed both the movement and type to back up his bloodlines. Since then, Freddy has matured into a striking stallion with great presence.

Carefully started under Will’s guidance, Freddy has begun his competition career with success. He is praised for his bravery over fences, natural jumping talent, and ease in the dressage arena. Judges consistently commend his rhythm and paces, and he continues to move up the grades with promising results.

Freddy is by APH Ferrari out of Masuren Feueruben (by World Cup show jumper Koenigsburg). His pedigree includes important Trakehner imports such as Polarschnee, Copernicus, and Zwion, alongside the influential German “F-line” mares, also found in Will Enzinger’s 4* eventer Feurikus. Notably, Koenigsburg was sired by Flugsand, great-grandsire of the legendary Gribaldi, while Polarschnee produced the Olympic eventer Jägermeister for New Zealand.

German pedigree expert Maren Engelhardt highlights further depth:
“Humor produced advanced-level show jumpers in the former East German Trakehner breed, and was also a valued broodmare sire. Ralf, one of the most important sires after WWI, was a sturdy chestnut with incredible power in his hind end, a true jumper type, able to pass that on, sometimes over generations.”

With his proven pedigree, excellent temperament, and growing performance record, Freddy represents both sporting talent and breeding value for the future.
